\nAs próximas duas edições dos X Games Foz do Iguaçu<\/a><\/u>, previstas para acontecerem em 2014 e 2015, estão ameaçadas. A Infraero pretende licitar o terreno em frente ao Centro de Convenções, onde foi montada a maior parte das estruturas e recebeu a maioria das modalidades no período de 18 a 21 de abril.

Terreno em frente ao Centro de Convenções de Foz do Iguaçu pertence à Infraero e abrigou os X Games em abril<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

\nApenas as provas de Skate e BMX Vert foram realizadas no Parque Nacional do Iguaçu. Segundo o vereador Luiz Queiroga (DEM), em entrevista à rádio CBN, empresários do setor hoteleiro mostraram interesse em participar da licitação, pois o terreno fica próximo ao principal atrativo turístico da cidade, as Cataratas do Iguaçu.<\/p>\n

Ainda segundo o parlamentar, um requerimento feito por ele pede ao presidente do Legislativo iguaçuense a indicação de três vereadores, representando a Câmara Municipal, em uma reunião em Brasília com a direção geral da Infraero, para tratar sobre o tema. Farão parte da comitiva os vereadores Luiz Queiroga, Paulo Queiróz (Coquinho) e Marino Garcia. O deputado federal Sérgio Oliveira também deve participar do encontro.<\/p>\n

Os organizadores dos X Games Foz do Iguaçu fizeram elogios à cidade e a logística do evento, concentrando-se as modalidades próximas umas das outras. Caso o terreno seja licitado, Foz do Iguaçu corre o risco de perder o evento para outra cidade.<\/p>\n

“A nossa proposta é que ainda que seja feita essa licitação, que colocasse em uma das cláusulas dela que a venda dessa área seja feita somente em 2015, depois da realização da terceira edição dos X Games Foz”, explicou o vereador Queiroga. <\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
